Find Some Article Help
Editors are often in a battle. In the trenches, in the firing line. The truth is we like a quiet life. Backroom stuff.
Often one edit is not enough. Editing is like an onion. Needs to be peeled layer by layer. Students have one edit, make changes and think the work should still be perfect.
Students often expect or are mislead to expect one edit to be the miracle. Simply not always possible. Writing is a dynamic process and not a static process.
Then the very people allocated by the university to help you often expect the editor ‘to fix’ everything. Or worse, they like to shift their responsibility, when they should be helping.
So you as the student need to equip yourself. You need to learn where to look for information and get on with it yourself or whom to ask for information. Remember that everyone needs help at times in whatever we do. Just don’t let people point you in the wrong direction.
Language Online will publish the odd article that might help you achieve the goal of finding help. Often that help will be for you. Sometimes it will help you decide whom to ask for help.
